Optical Character Recognition (OCR) & Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR):
Companies that must work with huge volumes of machine-print or hand-print documents can greatly improve the speed and efficiency of their data capture and customer service functions by utilizing recognition technology for accurate capture of machine-print and hand-print data.

Digital Preservation:
FNIS is one of the few document-imaging companies in the country with expertise in using digital archive services. We can provide you with protection from format obsolescence by converting to archival film those electronic files that must be kept virtually "forever." This analog, eye-readable format combines long-term storage with permanent access and ensures that these files will be readable by both man and machine for the foreseeable future. Also, digital preservation is particularly useful with your disaster management and recovery plans, as all files are stored safely off-site.

Film Conversion:
We can preserve impossible-to-replace images on 16mm and 35mm film by converting them to a digital format and storing them safely off-site.
